Just recently, we received the ultimate compliment from a hard-core LOTR fan. As she came climbing up the hill with a big, beaming smile she said to me that we've not just created a beautiful hobbit house, we're also creating a Shire! This actually took me by surprise, but, I'll take that compliment and keep it in mind as we continue to weave our magic into this special place! This year I took the plunge and signed myself up for a permaculture design and educators course. I'm thoroughly enjoying it and delight in sharing any learning with interested guests. Living in harmony with nature, feeding the soil, and growing your own food, shouldn't be considered as living the dream, its a practical and satisfying way to meet your own needs and let's face it, in this current climate, it makes good sense! We really are truly blessed with the loveliest of guests who love and appreciate what we are doing.
